Week 2 WOW – (Workout of the week)

Week 2 WOW!

Remember your contest this week!!  Trying a new workout and posting it on our fan page.  Your info on this is in the email that was sent on Sunday night, and I will post it also to the main chat board on the page.  

There are 4 short demo videos of some of these exercises at the end of the workout.  

Do a quick warm up of some jumping jacks, plank jacks and squats.  Just get yourself warm and the blood flowing.
After warm up do 8 min each group:
Start with 2 reps of each then 4 then 6 and keep climbing by 2’s until you hit 8 minutes.  Do 8 minutes of Couplet 1, 8 minutes of Couplet 2 and 8 minutes of Couplet 3.  Then finish your ab work about 2-3 minutes.
Couplet #1:
  • Burpees
  • Dips
  • Plank leg swings (straight arm plank and swing straight right leg up to right elbow and back then left = 1 rep). *VIDEO ATTACHED OF PLANK LEG SWINGS
Couplet #2:
  • Lunges (right and left=1)
  • Push-ups
  • Jump squats
Ab Finisher: 
Same idea start at 2 and climb by 2 for 2-3min
  • Full sit-up
  • Crunch
  • Toe pop (lay flat and pop feet up in air)
